GT is definitely playing better than their record suggests. Coach DS has them playing like an upper tier ACC team. Their last game game out they beat Clemson in Little John. Our boys are coming off of some feel good stuff from Wednesday at home. This game is a legitimate test in my opinion to see if the Hoos have turned the corner⌠Go Hooâs!!
We are locked and loaded. Killer training session in the books this morning. Got some family time on tap during the day to calm the nerves and keep me from burning at 100 all day. Then ready to walk the dog as I stroll into McCamish tonight looking as good as only I can look, calling out Ga. Tech fans and willing our lads on to victory. The Atl is not ready for the storm Dragon is preparing to unleash when I walk into that stadium.
Just want to see some fight today. Building blocks for next year. Go to battle on the road and donât just roll over. Can handle a tight loss. A 20 point drubbing, and Iâm checking out
I still donât understand how we can be such two different teams at home and on the road. I mean, I know road games are harder, but still. We havenât just won at home, weâve won comfortably. And been thrashed on the road.
My gut says itâs less about venue and more about the quality of competition. But Syracuse just beat Miami, and Tech just beat State. So those arenât awful teams weâve beaten.
A win tonight will make me feel much more optimistic.
Has to be purely psychological and energy. Running of screens harder. Defensive breakdowns, etc. etc.
Is indeed frustrating. My gut says we are still a better team than NC State and Notre Dame (Wake forest at home would be interesting though they did get Monsanto back).
I really do hope the defensive adjustments help in creating less of those momentum opportunities for the opponent.
