On the fringe of your kickers range in a game where youāre down 35-31 and canāt stop the opposing offense. What the hell does 3 points get you there.

The odds of making that field goal probably arenāt much better than the odds of picking up a 4th and 6. Taking into account the score and game flowā¦awful decision.

With our conversion rate today, I would have gone for it. But they donāt pay me $3M a year to have a three-year winning percentage of ~35%, either.

kicking down 4 for a 47 yard FG just shows that you shouldnāt be a HC. I donāt care who the kicker is.

Part of me is skeptical of going with another OC/learning on the job head coach but man Jason Beck with a budget and the air raid would be a movie.

I didnāt mind the FG attempt. He makes it, then if/when State scores another TD, itās still a one score game. My confidence in winning went from about 40% to about 20% with that miss though.
