Itās not 100% on Morris. I get he made a shitty throw but why are we throwing there in the first place. Weāve got a full minute left and a timeout in our pocket, run the fucking ball.
Itās the best we could do with Tonyās record and even then we only got him because his dad is friends with Tony
Itās why we should have moved on.
Elliott and every other UVA coach in my lifetime in love with low percentage 45+ yard fgs, and definitely not in a game where both defense barely put up any resistance.
Yeah it might be curtains for TE. But I think the team is good enough for 7 wins. Which probably gets him his job back
Twitty was wide open underneath. Bad read. Bad throw. At a minimum throw it to the back pylon.
Iām slightly pissed right now.
Almost as much of a gut punch as Vericaās endzone int to end the game in Lane in 2008.
LOL. No. Gut punch, yes. But not that bad.
Agree they coulda won but you gotta expect your 6th yr qb has more sense than to make that throw. Theres blame to go around but Morris is the qb the leader and the one who pulled the trigger on a terrible ball.
Yeah man youāre right. Need the boosters to step up. Maybe weāll go to a bowl game with a 50 million dollar roster.
obviously Morris fault on the INT. But I just canāt believe the amount of excuses we make for a staff that simply just losses.
i didnāt say it was that bad, did I?
Welp there goes the playoff ![]()
Morris did pretty good the whole game. Sure some passes werenāt accurate but that last play maybe was designed back shoulder??? If it was thatās gutsy and didnāt pay off but if he seals itās a TD. Would love you and @JBHoo post game!
This is the part where I go for a run to burn off some frustration. Iād almost forgotten about this tradition!
Replay of this game⦠no need to watch the actual highlights.

I blame the play call there as much as Morris but Morris did make a terrible throw.
really donāt get not running there
Itās a bad decision by Morris 100%, but when youāre in that situation the coaching staff has to have some risk management there. Put in on the ground and trust Taylor to not fumble, worst case scenario is youāre running more clock and giving NCST less time on their next drive.
I just thought our last play looked rushed, and it was rushed for very little reason. We had plenty of time.
Bad decision, bad throw.
but we lost that game with our ādefenseā in 3Q, the iffy FG call, and the awful toss play on 4th and 1.
He played great all game was great on the drive. Just has to be smarter than to make that throw. The receiver had no chance to make a play on it. Chuck it out the back of the endzone run it a cple yrs and duck out.
A starting qb cannot make that decision. And unfortunately for him it negates all the good
100% 21 unanswered points will not cut it.
Theres a lot that goes into any win or loss.
