The coaching carousel will be way more active this offseason than last. It may be the most active one ever with all the pent up demand after last cycle’s unexpected retentions due to budget uncertainties.
there’s 68 P4 level jobs - 17 ACC + 16 Big 12 + 16 SEC + 18 Big Ten + ND. So far there’s 8 openings plus probably Wisconsin, FSU, maybe South Carolina, LSU, UNC, Northwestern, Kansas State, Auburn plus downstream effects at possibly Ole Miss, Oregon, Syracuse, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Washington, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Kansas, SMU. And you can’t rule out discontent at USC, Maryland, NC State, Texas, Michigan, Michigan State or personal reasons/health/age at Clemson, Colorado, Iowa, Utah.
I just named half the P4. It won’t be half, but could easily be 25, more than 1/3. At least 1/4, which is 17.
