Clary enrolled early in January 2019, so he’s spent 6 full years on Grounds. Maybe he’s like Chico Bennett who said he stuck around because he doesn’t want to have to get a real job yet.

But if he wants another year, it’s plausible he could get one under our 2022 tragedy exemption. I think Nick Jackson got a 6th year using that.

Winning at VT to become bowl eligible, and hold VT at 5 wins, might earn CTE an extension on the spot.

Edit - I’d love to go to a bowl game while setting the wreckage of VT’s season on fire, but as someone who’s been a fan of our football team for a while, I’m unclear how anyone was able to vote for an option besides “none”.

Indiana just gave Cignetti 8 years and 72 mil. Even if we hired him and he had that level of success for us we’re not swimming in those waters and he would’ve been gone. Maybe would’ve served as a wake up call for some people though.
