I hate to say it but I have lost a ton of respect for Tony this season. He realized he scouted terribly and passed a dumpster fire to Ron. Cofie is the only NBA prospect and heās very raw

Actually IMac got very aggressive first 10 mins of second half. Like to see him do that more (even if he canāt make a layup, he might get fouled)

No. Ron loves him. Everyone does. Itās just couch experts like you conspiracizing who have qualms. Take em to the bank.
Thatās the worst part of this year. Usually with a youngish team, even if theyāre struggling, you can spin it forward. Enjoy watching the young players blossom. We donāt even have that. Cofie is gone gone, Saunders almost certainly gone, maybe some hope with Gertrude.

I was really shocked to see how little we attack and just settle for outside shots. When you are down 9 and shooting 60%+ from 3 you have to do something different. We donāt rebound, we donāt try and get easy points or get fouls, we just set high screens and try and shoot. And Stanford werenāt that much bigger or more athletic (except for BB he just didnāt match up). It seems like we are taught not to attack. Anyway, good times and lots of fun. Really fun place to watch a game!

I totally stand behind that take and think that it is pretty obvious that BB is not good enough or physical enough to play against even average college bball players. Weāve seen it for years now. Robinson is a big body. We need guys that will be physical and play hard. BB is not it.

Anyone got a clip of the Stanford walk on trying to rip the rim off with that end of game dunk? Iām sick enough after this game that I want to see it again

It was an awesome dunk. Arena was psyched, UVA got clowned. They did that high pick and roll like 10 times in the second half and we never figured it out.

The season would have been much different with Tony. This season just shows even more Tonyās magic. Letās hope the next coach can do even a quarter of what he did. Almost certainly not though.
And Iām sure Ron would have appreciated at least a shot at it. All this shows is that he aināt ready for the prime time (or mid major level either apparently)
