What we didnt hear was the almost silent "see you in the portal"s
Donāt know if TE will make it as a head coach but I really hope he has a long and successful career in this business. Heās very easy to root for and I wish him all the best
That first half was an abomination but that second half may be the best weāve looked in the Elliott era. Defense was just awesome.
I get a sick satisfaction from Fentrell Cypress ditching the Hoos for FSU, and heās 1-5 and weāre 4-1.

I was having the exact same thought watching FSU lose to Clemson yesterday!!
We got a GREAT one at LB
Kam back and healthy plays a big role on the teams ability to dial up blitz packages. His versatility combined with play making opened up a lot of possibilities
One fumble kicked right into his teammateās hands
This is so true. His versatility gives the defense more stability but also flexibility in what they can do/how they can play.
Probably no Couch QB this week, I was out of town. I did, however, get to watch most of the game on my phone. Some takeaways:
The first half was awful (obvious). AC10 needs to really learn the situation stuff, such as not running out of bounds when nothing is open. Throw the ball away.
And they were very fortunate to be able to kick the field goal just before half. Everyone from QB to coaches really have to be more aware of time. I blame coaches moreso here because they somehow managed to go to the half with a timeout still in hand. Should never happen if you get the last touch (like that) while down.
Second half MUCH better (again obviously)
Defense: Couple guys who stuck out to me were Terrell Jones and Kendren Smith. And of course Sanker and Kam, but I liked seeing some guys who maybe arenāt really ākeyā every week stepping up and handling business.
Offense: I loved the effort to continue to force a rushing game. Even more so when playing against the leading sack man in the entire country. Offensive line did a pretty good job, and both the main backs ran hard on their opportunities. Also shout out to the guys who stepped up while 2 of the 3 starting wide receivers were out. I thought JR did great for his first game back and Andre Greene didnāt look too bad in his first opportunity either.
Make no mistake this was a very impressive win. BCās tough, physical style had me extremely concerned heading into the week. And then once they got off to a quick start I felt like we really didnāt have a chance. But Coach Elliott rallied the team and they flat out dominated the second half. This one in recent years hadnāt felt like one the Hoos would win, but they figured it out and battled to the final whistle.
Louisville next week will be tough. I agree theyāre the best team we will have played so far, although I donāt personally think BC is that far behind themā¦

Some nice props for OZ hereā¦.

Would have been even nicer if Gruden could pronounce his name properly. I thought he was saying āThe Chaos.ā
To cross the streams with the nickname discussion in a different thread, The Chaos would be an excellent nickname.
