If there’s any silver lining at all, it’s (a) this lets Dak Twitty get more burn, as he’s our future at the position, plus (b) it’s early enough in the season Ennis could redshirt and play again next year if he wants.

Other news from today’s pre-BC presser is that Boley is finally back (I’d love to see Witmer bump to the RT spot and move Steen inside to RG, but that’s probably a pipe dream), and JR Wilson sounds ready to go and Elliott thinks he could be as good a target as Malachi.

Depth chart for this week had Furnish starting at RG and Steen still at RT, so yeah probably not happening. Am wishing for the same though, thought Witmer did pretty good in Boley’s absence.

6 wins would’ve been so much easier if instead of @ND we had home vs a mid tier MAC or Sun Belt school.

I’m still not convinced he plays. Seems fishy. Would not put it past O’Brien to engage in gamesmanship. Just because he’s practicing doesn’t mean he can take hits as he would in a game.

If we were going to shift guys around, why would we give BC a heads up? BC has the leading pass rusher in the country. Let’s not tell him who he’s lining up against.
