Nxt season is the final year.
Looks like his contract is through 2027. If it was over after the 2025 season, I’d be in favor of him running out his contract. But no way in hell should we wait until 2027.

There is an $8 million buyout in the deal, but that amount will be lowered by $2 million each season.
Key part. So $2M buyout this year, none after next year. I think.

Don’t they kind of have to give him some nominal extension in that scenario (for recruiting reasons)?

4 mil until 3/31/25, 2 mil until 3/31/26, 0 thereafter.
