I wouldnāt say that. Weāve beaten only one top 50 kenpom team and lost to 2 teams outside of the top 50, one of which, Butler, looks pretty bad at this point. Big week coming up

We beat UMES by the exact same score 84-60. That was also the last game weāve shot > 40% from deep.

When is Jacari coming back?
I feel like weāre wasting way too many offensive opportunities to use the full shot clock by making baskets early in the possession. Weāre not dribbling the ball staring at the defense, passing around the perimeter, and we lose our chance to throw up a desperation shot with the shot clock expiring. This is the ultimate cause of our scoring so many points and needs to be corrected soon.

Defensive improvement is real. Currently at 30th in Kenpom, wonder what the ceiling is. Staying around 30th with our offense would make us a 2nd weekend team

The improvement of this team throughout the season has been pretty crazy to watch. Odomās in-season coaching job, which is one of the things he was heralded for, has far surpassed any reasonable expectation imo.
Donāt want to get too ahead of myself, but he has to be in the running for coach of the year right? Complete roster flip and has them as a ~top 20 team before the halfway mark of the season?

Another whoopin with our āBā game. Still plenty that can be cleaned up. 8 missed FT (shot 65%) and 11 TO (felt like more and many were unforced). Go Hoos!

We are terrible. Not even worth watching, unless of course Cory is on the call. That man could turn a race to dry between two colors of paint into an entertaining and informative experience. I wonder what Coryās favorite color is and why he hasnāt told us.

Imagine how good weād be if we didnāt spend the first 5-10 minutes every game looking like weād forgotten we had a game and played our middle 20 minute game from jump.

If we somehow finished at the Torvik projection (25-6, 13-5), that is ACC COY and Top 3-5 national COY. Becoming increasingly clear we got the best possible hire we could have for culture, fit and long term prognosis in this environment.
