Looking at Campbell:

Last season: 14-18 (8-10, 9th in CAA)

Key Losses:

SF Anthony Dell’Orso 19.5 Pts, 6.5 Reb, 1.9 Ast Transferred to Arizona
SF Laurynas Vaistaras 10.8 Pts, 4.3 Reb, 3.1 Ast Transferred to Mercer
PF Alex Kotov 3.8 Pts, 2.9 Reb, 1.1 Ast Graduated

Coach: Kevin McGeehan, 12th Season (All at Campbell), Career Record 169–182 (84–107)

Guards: Returning starting Sr G Jasin Sinani (10.4 ppg, 2.3 apg, 37.4% 3P%) and Sr G Tasos Cook (3.7 ppg, 0.8 apg), so two system vets up top. JR Elijah Walsh (7.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg) and 5th year Gediminas Mokseckas (6.3 ppg, 2.4 rpg) return on the wing. They do add one interesting transfer in St Francis (and 804 kid) wing Cam Gregory (13.4 ppg, 2.7 apg, 35.4% 3P% in the NEC). Just enough in the way of experience and depth to potentially surprise our rebuilt perimeter.

Bigs: Likely building around 5th year grad transfer Terren Frank, 6’8" 230lb transfer from Idaho (started his career at TCU and Vanderbilt), 6.8 ppg last year, 10.0 ppg in an injury-shortened junior season. Likes to step out and shoot 3’s, maybe a better cover for Saunders. Will also likely use UNC-Wilmington transfer Eric Van Der Heijden, 6’9 forward who averaged 1.8 ppg and 2.0 rpg last year after starting his career at Ole Miss. A couple other big guys but no one who’s really shown much, other than maybe DII (McKendree) grad transfer forward Caleb Zurliene (13.7 ppg, 6.5 rpg). Frank might be competent, but we should be able to overwhelm the rest.

I’ve gotten hooked on gambling so I’m going to set a more or less for each player for the game. No idea how legit these lines are but fun thing to play around with anyway!

iMac 2.5 3PM (more)
Saunders 12.5 points (more)
Power 1.5 3PM (more)
Blake 5.5 rebounds (less)
Cofie 5.5 points (more)
Rohde 0.5 3PM (less)
Taine 4.5 points (less)
Bliss 1.5 assists (more)
Sharma 8.5 minutes (less)
ARob 2.5 rebounds (less)

I’m holding out hope that he’s just behind due to injury. But we’ll see. Could be a coaching preference, no clue. Thought Bliss looked pretty talented but a step slow in the B/W scrimmage (shoutout @superhelix). Could certainly be because of the injury issues.

Any injury at guard (or really at any position) and we are big time screwed. Would really really like some clarity on Bliss.

Yeah that’s definitely the biggest issue with losing Warley. Bliss being unable to play would certainly have them cutting it thin. But to clear I have 0 info on why Bliss isn’t listed. Just feels like a safe guess that he may be slow to start this year after everything we’ve heard.
