The Ron Sanchez era begins one week from today.
Still no opening line… but I’d assume most sports books are going to pass on this one…

Campbell was picked second to last in the preseason CAA poll. Whomever we trot out there and whatever offense we run; I expect a 20+ point win.
oh thank god a gamethread
Here’s the kenpom line:
UVA -17
o/u 131
Where’s Campbell
Sold the o/u down to 100
Wherever Camels fight
Or Buies Creek, NC
Buies Creek, North Carolina, part of the Raleigh-Durham CSA, according to wiki.
Props to Campbell for choosing the alliterative and cool Camels mascot. The only other choice would have been the Campbell Soups.
Their law school is in Raleigh proper
But the law school’s team nickname is “The Arguing Nerds” not the Fighting Camels
UVA 50 - Camel 43
Would you rather play a camel-sized Campbell or 43 Campbell-sized camels?
I’ll be there!
Oh there will definitely be a line lol.
Just remembered Campbell is where Anthony Dell’orso was last year. Looks like they lost a majority of their players from an already bad roster. I like the Hoos to cover 17
What if I told you Rohde was getting 37 minutes in the game.
So, for NET purposes, winning by 25+ is a big win.
I hate the NET
Predictions for the post-game podium?
Obviously we didn’t really show this during the scrimmages but I think our team has some upside in the interior. I think people are sleeping on Blake. He was in a tough spot last year but still flashed potential. Then I’m super high on Cofie, especially now that it’s clear he’s going to play a lot. I don’t think it’s crazy at all to say that those 2 could potentially give us 15 & 10 combined, if not more than that. If they can do that consistently, I think it helps make everything easier.
Still concerned about our shooting but last year’s issue had as much to do with lack of ability to get buckets close to the rim as it did lack of shooters to hit shots further away.
