Does Tony have to be in complete and total agony every time he watches a UVa basketball game now? Or is there a hypothetical point in time when he’s allowed to go to JPJ and just enjoy himself?

Least he could do is run down the aisle and call the ref an asshole, get kicked out and salute the students

Have we gotten any more intel on our new hero? I really want to know what was said before the Fbomb. Would be great to get him as a guest on the next LRA pregame session!

Our hero said Fuck You and walked out high fived and saluted the students

I want Tony to call TV Teddy an a-hole and get kicked out.

Definite Tshirt for Green Khaki Pants and Green Sweater Guy. He’s a legend at this point

How do we find this mystery fan?

The internet will provide answers! I propose a silhouette of a man wearing pleated pants and a sweater from the mid 90’s giving the finger to a ref at center court. Like the NBA Logo but not Jerry West- the green sweater dude. If there is a way to have him holding a Makers Mark bottle, that would be even better.

Here’s my hot take: Rohde is going to play in the NBA.

Man, AI can’t do fingers or hands right for shit. Or maybe dude just has some damn awful arthritis. Given his age, maybe…

Also, that is the ā€œwe can’t do trademarked logosā€ version of a Maker’s Mark bottle.

Not so sure the guy’s a hero despite his cool demeanor & high fives - here’s what a Sabre poster said:

I sat near this guy a few years ago. He was very demeaning to our players.
I remember him shit talking directly to Casey Morsell (when Casey was a Hoo) and some of our other players. Telling Casey he sucks and he shouldn’t be on the floor and he can’t shoot. It was really terrible. He was so loud Casey could clearly hear him. I thought he was drunk but apparently he is just always an asshole. Embarrassing that he claims to be a Wahoo fan. His daughter is pretty cute though

Depends on who that poster is. If they have the initials b.i.r.d.d.o.g.g or they are someone of his ilk, I’d consider that story 100% bullshit.

Save it for the in-game thread

Definitely not hero. Seemed like an ass but still hilarious it happened.

A different view of our infamous fan from the Sabre

He is a local Alumnus, great guy and long time supporter

Says he isn’t out of the woods yet. As a season tix holder, May have to stay home a game or 2. Wasn’t decided as of yesterday. Given his personality, the ejection was very unexpected.

Don’t know the guy, don’t know which Sabre version of him is closer to the truth. I just don’t make a hero of a guy who lets out a string of profanity in public–particularly where children are present. Maybe it was a one-time thing, but still unacceptable.

Guy looks to be about my age. Time to grow up.
