I was thinking about this as well. This may have been why he came back to UVa to be To an assistant coach. Itâs okay to not be Batman, as Robins are super supportive and successful as well.
He tried his hand at Charlotte and it wasnât a great fit but he atleast tried being a head coach.
Tony forced his hand to step back into the Head coaching role, instead of JWilly.

Iâve seen plenty of coaches who arenât outwardly animated or fiery with passionate, active teams. I just think itâs more to do with us not having the same defensive attention to detail weâve had in past years and not having the offensive fire power to compensate for it.
Iâm also a bit stunned that weâre still playing Saunders this much over Robinson when Saunders is 2-11 from the field and weâre getting absolutely demolished on the glass.
Robinson has proven, to me at least, that he can be our most effective big at times and that he is our best rebounding big. Him not playing today is egregious.
