iMac is a different offensive player than he was at the start of the year. His last drive was a great example even though he wasnāt able to finish. Heās much less one dimensional (better at taking guys off the dribble, passing and finishing).
You have to think that working with Kyle has been a big part of his development.

I was just thinking the same. This team has save me a lot of time this year -I didnāt have to watch any other ACC games, no purusing KenPom, cancelled my Athletic subscription. I dont need to watch any more tounrament games.

On the same token, these kids have been playing their whole lives, and several are adults. They shouldnāt have to be told that. My high school players know to do that.
Ok, letās stop with the ālooks checked outā explanation for individual players. I thought guys showed up playing hard today but the futility of our schemes and athleticism leave us with no answer. Guys may be giving up, and in a perfect world they shouldnāt, but Iām not blaming individuals for this performance.

I said somewhere at the beginning of the year that Iāve always felt teams take on feel of their coach. Far too often this season, itās felt like Ron has lacked the fire you need out of the head coach and itās showed. Not fighting for his team or getting after them on long droughts, very few times have I seen him get after officials when the foul discrepancy is going against them.
So of course today they come and look like a team with no purpose. All those things seem to be popping up again with their season up for grabs.
Wish Ron all the best in the future but itās clear heās not an ACC head coach.

Last time we didnāt secure a win in the ACC Tournament was in 2013.
An era ends.
(Still time in this one, but the last 2 minutes of the first half and first 6 minutes of the second are probably too much to overcome.)
