Re-Posting from different thread - scouting report on NC State vs Kansas.
May not be the correct thread but was able to see NC State today vs KU.
We were also given the KU scouting report on the 5 NC State starters. The coaches took the sheets back but will try to give a synopsis of the Wolfies.
Scouting report:
#10 - Lefty but who preferred to drive right. Very quick.
#34 - banger. Good rebounder. Likes to go over his left shoulder with his right hand when in the post.
#8. Likes to run in transition and step back 3s
McConnell. Heās the orchestrator but not a great 3 pt shooter. Not a great athlete. Donāt fall for his pump fakes. Stay down on defense against him.
Overall the Jayhawks were worried about limiting live ball turnovers and handling the backcourt pressure - not good for us as those are likely two areas of weakness for us. NC State likes to run and also tries to draw a lot of fouls at the rim. Not a lot of assists. Theyāre dribbling / driving on their own.
From the game,
the best player for the Wolfies was #1 and it wasnāt close. He will be a problem for Blake or Cofie. Strong and has crafty moves around the basket. He gave Hunter fits. 34 is aggressive around the hoop too. They can go very big with #1 and #34 in the game at the same time. Could be a good game for Cofie and ARob.
They got down 0-15 (not unusual in Allen field house. Itās fucking intimidating for teams who arenāt familiar with it) but NC State clawed back into to keep it respectable.
They are very scrappy and have extremely active hands. They are in passing lanes and looked to be switching almost everything on defense. They got a lot of steals and ran aggressively.

I was kind of interested after I saw the schedule on the Post game show after the game yesterday. Then the NC State game right after started and they full court pressed every possession the first five minutes and I realizedā¦ Well, that aināt gonna be good for us.
