I’ll predict relatively boring offense because Tony doesn’t care about running up the score like Franklin apparently does and people will be concerned that we didn’t win by enough. Then we’ll go dominate WVU

I thought West Virginia looks good at the beginning of that game, but ended up watching most of it, and came away not impressed. Their O line was not getting much push at all against coastal and I really think we should be able to stop their run game. The question is how legit is Hawkins as a passer. They had the same game plan with him that we had with Pribula only difference is they played a much weaker opponent and the game was closer. Either they don’t trust him or are keeping things as vanilla as possible until they play us

Re: the western Michigan finish, didn’t something similar almost happen to us against Tech this year? Where Chance clearly got off a shot with half a second left via the broadcast clock but then the officials spent five minutes reviewing it and nobody understood why and then they said it was because the broadcast clock was off? Or am I imagining that

Honestly this might be the best Norfolk State team in years. They blew out the DII team they opened with and were within striking distance of ODU in the third quarter, which is a lot better than how things typically go for them against FBS opponents. Seems like Vick has injected at least a modicum of talent into their roster via his name and notoriety.
All that being said, we’re obviously gonna beat the shit out of them. Would like to see Holstein play the entire second half, he can get some reps and we can keep Beau fresh for the WVU game. I also wouldn’t play Kam unless he’s absolutely 100% ready to go, and even then I’d keep his snaps limited.
