After Miami/FAMU yesterday I’m kind of over the P4 vs FCS games, the gap is just too big. We only get 12 games a year of football, it feels silly that everyone still wastes one of them on a game like this. Like if this was an ODU or a Liberty or an ECU or an App State I could justify coming down especially for a Friday night game but not for a game where the other team’s total is like 4.5
That being said I get it. Why risk the 5-10% chance of losing to a G5 when you could have a <1% chance of losing to an FCS. Would have to be some sort of mutual agreement within the P4. I appreciate that at least we do local schools for our FCS games

The gap is so much larger nowadays with th3 fcs schools being raided every season. The chances of an App. ST. Seem to dwindle each year.
But like you said I get it. Especially with no preseason. Teams need a tune up. Even in week 2.

What was the penalty that gave them a huge gain + 1st down? Announcers said there was one but didn’t say what.
