🏈 Virginia vs North Carolina, L, 41-14, 4-4 (2-3 ACC). Saturday, 26 October 2024, 1200, the CW

Do we no longer measure for first downs? That 3rd down pick up was really really close…looked short.

They’ve gotten two or three really generous spots so far. There’s a reason they’re called Carolina refs.

Thought i heard at some point they phase the measure thing out? Someone else will know

That last one b4 the slip screen TD was short.

Delay of game. LOL. What a shitty football team this is.

Center is getting abused. Doesn’t matter who the QB is if Carolina is going to blitz out of cover 0 all game. We can’t chip the inside rush.

Happens to every team.

First and goal from the 1 should’ve been Grady Bunch x3.

Lose momentum… Give up a long TD drive with really poor tackling… Next offensive series features a delay of game and multiple sacks… Terrible punt has UNC in great position…

Hard not to trace it all back to the goal line decision, but who knows.

If we finish 4-8, meaning 7 straight losses to end the year which isn’t that far fetched, and Elliott is retained, literally no one will have any enthusiasm for the program moving forward.

It will just be a throwaway year next year while we wait to hire a coach when the program is literally at the lowest possible point. But with the basketball search underway they’ll probably wait to fire him

We may stink, I guess, but beautiful pic of the highway there from CW/

Well we lined up in tighter coverage on that first down, gave them ALL DAY to throw and no one was open so that’s progress.

I really like 25. He’s not super explosive but just a good football player.

Good job by the D making a couple plays to shut down the short-field opportunity.

Best bet for yards will be quick plays to the outside or quick slants. Toss sweep, option pitch, quick outs, maybe slants from outside receivers. Slow-developing pass plays and dive/power plays will struggle until we can adjust to our ninth-string center being in.

20 yards total offense in Q1. Already up to 18 :fire: :fire: in Q2. Let’s go Hoos!

So we run a dive on 3rd and 2. If I can see it, Des should be able to see it?
