Opponent free throw rate rank from Torvik for the Bennett-Sanchez-Odom era. It’s uhhhh… not great as a rate stat lol. Honestly I feel like so many of our fouls are dumb that we can kind of clean it up a bit and maybe get a good bit better. This is pretty bad. Not sure I realized how good we had it for the Bennett years tbh

Probably just that the refs don’t respect Ryan Odom and the ACC is specifically biased against Virginia (or at least that’s what I’ve read on the board)

I do think that Odom getting a “welcome to the league” treatment is like 10% of it. We’ve gotten some baaaad calls this year. I still want the refs from the Tech game investigated.
