Yeah didnā€™t think Bettridge had much of a chance with that kick given how damp the field is rn.

Canā€™t be mad at 27-7 though. Still plenty of things to improve on but Iā€™ve liked how the offense has looked for the most part.

I wasnā€™t a big fan of the call in that specific situation. Take that with a grain of salt as I only got to start really watching at the restart (had to go to a wedding today)ā€¦

Youā€™ve got what appears to be an overmatched opponent down 20. If you donā€™t get it, you give them the ball in almost scoring position to start. Maybe itā€™s the PTSD of last year but donā€™t give them any chance of having hope.

Not to get too long winded but in general I love the aggressiveness, just not on that extremely specific situation.

Haha oh yeah. Once youā€™ve got it I love the call and of course obviously the effort to make the catch.

One big thing I thought we had an issue with was taking the foot off the gas once we had a lead. Although I wouldnā€™t have gone for it on the 4th from inside own 40, after theyā€™ve converted it I love taking the shot down field and keeping foot on the gas.

Yeah thatā€™s completely fair too. I think Iā€™m a little surprised right now by how much clearly better we look than these guys. That isnā€™t always the case for usā€¦ definitely a major positive.

And did I hear the announcer right, the first penalty was a false start with 43 seconds left in the half? Another major improvement for us.
