Pass rush hasnāt been great but the run defense has been really stout so far.

Early thoughts:
Colandrea, Harris and Fields look good.
Defense still canāt get any pressure.
Linebacking corps is solid.
Sanker is the best safety weāve had in a while.
Want to see something for Tyree, Harrison, and Greene in space.

Electric start so far, letās keep it rolling.
My favorite part so far is seeing the team so hyped up for making plays against the FCS East Astronauts while the fans in the half empty stadium yawn and clap more mildly than jwilly seeing someone get of a bus using proper technique.
Edit: actually my new favorite part is that Richmond has a dude named Jerry Garcia

Weāre playing Richmond, but our S&C guy is doing work with the offense. Our playmakers look faster than Iāve seen them in years vs. a D-IAA squad.

For reference thatās WAY better than what William and Mary was last year when we beat them 27-13. W&M was a middling FCS team.
#12 FCS is also in the range of ārandom FCS team upsets a good P5 team.ā

100% Obviously Richmond isnāt great competition but weāve looked much worse vs them and other Virginia FCS teams in previous years.
