Without looking at stats, I feel like weāve done really well on avoiding dumb pre-snap penalties.
This one was utterly inexcusable all the same
And I shouldnāt say I hate this team because I obviously donāt. These kids are busting their asses. And I will always love UVA football, for better or worse.
But man, being a fan of this program is exhausting and Iām worried sick about TE getting another unwarranted year just to prolong the inevitable rebuild

Watching an actually competent offense move with pace down the field makes our product all the more frustrating.

I know what Iām watching, a defense that has been on its back heels for most of the game because our offense keeps stalling out.
Would agree that defense is ACC average - not bad. I was at ND last week ā¦ they played hard.
Weāve had the ball two more minutes than SMU (14:51 to 12:44).
Maybe morale? But play with pride and make a play.
Yeah but TOP doesnāt matter as much in this game. SMU wants to lose that battle, they play quick and wanna score quick.
Theyāve ran more plays and I can imagine our defense is already exhausted.
