Had the same question. They showed him more than FH and he seemed more fialed in

Thank you for your service Becky. Seriously. It’s never been easy being a teacher, but my respect has only gone up these last few years.

I’m surprised Brandon Aubrey’s success in the NFL hasn’t inspired a bunch of football coaches to try to convert soccer players to kickers.

Hey their kicker sucks too, that’s nice.

Yeah but they’re bad like we usually are, losing to a team like ours

In the post game interview Elliott just said we had some guys going in there on one leg and then name dropped Wiggenton. Said he missed 2 practices this week.

It’s not saying much, but with all the breakdowns we had defensively we still only gave up 20 points and shut down Stanford’s run game, which was their only route to winning.

The secondary is a major problem, specifically the Safety spots but hopefully Clary getting healthier will help with that. I saw positive signs from our front 7, sure it was against a banged up Stanford OL but I thought Rickert Melton and Holmes all had solid games.

Probably gonna get our ass kicked next week by FSU’s offense, but let’s see if we can make enough stops to stay in it and rely on our offense to beat them in a shootout.

Getting Robinson and clary back is huge to help solidify the defense. Hopefully the DL can continue to generate some pressure too.

On the other side of the ball I really hope Brady is good to go by Friday. It’ll be all hands on deck against an uber athletic FSU team especially up front. Having our protection signal caller and best player up front would go a long way in helping our efforts.

This will also be a real opportunity for Des to show his continued growth this year. This is the only game this year that I think we’re seriously outmatched in. He’s going to have to call a great game but also have good schemes to help keep the FSU rush in check.

I couldn’t be more excited for this game.

We’re supposed to win a huge upset over FSU in Charlottesville every 10 years that end in a 5.

I hate to keep bringing it up but man I wish we could get that NCST ending back. Imagine the hype around our program going into a primetime Friday night game 4-0 against a top 5-10 team in the country. Would have been massive for us.

Still gonna be exciting but just a missed opportunity.

As a high school teacher, I also hear it all the time.

I think it’s come to mean ā€œwe can say this to annoy adults around us,ā€ and whenever I hear it, I announce to my classroom ā€œthere will be no brain rot in here.ā€ It’s nearly as meaningless, and the kids kind of think it’s funny that I say ā€œbrain rot.ā€ But I’m pretty easy going, so they generally comply.

In the couple of classes where it persists, I now ostentatiously grab the big black dry erase marker and make a dramatic hash mark on the board whenever I hear it. I have not told them what will happen if there are more than two hash marks, and I honestly have no idea what I would do. But we’ve never gotten past two hash marks.

Yea , That brings back memories of FSU’s first loss in the ACC was against the Hoos 30 years ago with Poindexter stopping Dunn inches short of the goal line on the final play. One of my favorite all time wins. Wild celebration that night. IIt’s time to do it again Hoos!
