Not excusing the defense but take away those three long passes and the numbers are quite good. Run defense looked particularly improved with Kam back. The backend of the secondary is scaryyy though.

ESPN Analytics Matchup Predictor now has the Hoos going 9-3, with the only remaining projected losses being the next 2 matchups.
I also can confirm Pop Tart Bowl (volunteer) reps were at the game last night.

Minus the couple of big pass plays Stanford hit, overall thought we played well. Very disappointed with the crowd. Night game, perfect weather, exciting offense, and maybe 2/3 full and thatās being generous. And looked like a lot of students left at halftime.
Tix on the secondary market are pretty high (for UVa standards) for FSU. No idea what to expect for a Friday night game, but if Scott isnāt at least 90% full with actual butts-in-seats, then not a good look on national TV.

Heard an ominous update about Brady Wilson. Hopefully just pessimistic speculation but sounded like not a quick and easy thing
He was supposed to get tests today. Do you have someone so connected to the program that they would have this level of intel already?

Man this would be a massive loss. Heās been the anchor and easily our best o-lineman in a few years. Itās odd because when they panned the camera to him sitting on the bench with ice on his right calf he clearly mouthed āIām fineā¦(head shake in a āYesā motion) Yeah, Iām fine.ā I watched it back 3x to see what he was saying to someone (a fan I would presume).

all the boards went nuts with Kams injury and speculation. Iāll sit and wait till the media releases. Iād imagine JF has the answer already,

Iāll be there and Iāve recruited friends (+ my fiance who could not care less about Virginia football on the eve of bama-Georgia but sheās a good sport and will at least probably wear blue and orange) to make the trip with me! (Havenāt actually bought tickets yet tho if anyone has a lead/is getting rid of any)
This is the biggest game in Scott in a while.

Reported attendance for the 2019 FSU @ UVA game was 57,826. That might be the biggest crowd in the last 15 years.

I dunno about āimpossibleā to fix overall. Certainly impossible to fix in a handful of good games, and probably impossible to fix in a season. But it took a heck of a lot longer than a season for the current malaise to be built.
If they play FSU close and end the season 9-3 with a win over VT, and probably with a really solid bowl and nationally ranked, ticket sales next season will be clearly better.
