Didn’t Loyola Marymount do this in the Kimble/Gathers years?
I got hooked up with some very very lower bowl tickets… Don’t know how that happened but very appreciative. Going to the soccer game the day before as well.
It’s Ryan Dunn Countdown Day on Damin Altizer’s social media pages.
hehehehe
man, those pull up mid range Js (early ones vs Taylor and Bliss) are what is so tempting about a ‘big’ line up w Dunn at the 3 and smaller guys like that trying to check him…
That’s a pro
Although I’d prefer a little more taking it to the rack instead of the congested midrange jumpers
With the caveat that everyone looks capable of everything 1-on-1, he looks fluid with the ball.
Agree on wanting to see more at the rim, but as Reece noted with his draft feedback, if you’re a ballhandler, you do need to have a midrange pull-up in your bag for situations where better shots aren’t available.
Practicing that mid-range jumper and becoming proficient at it is what opens up the other stuff. He doesn’t need to practice his dunks, he’s pretty damn good at those. When a guy can score at all three levels he’s really hard to guard.
Sage advice sir!
Would be very happy with this lineup
No Elijah Gertrude in the “off the bench” section
Gertrude gonna Dunn it this season. Wonder if sooner depending on Shoulder injury to Harris.
Im assuming its just assumed rotation for game 1. No idea if my assumptions of this being assumptions are just assumptions
Yeah, I would’ve liked to seen him listed, just to get past the angst that will occur if he doesn’t play.
As has been said, no sure thing that Tony wrote or approved that info.
PANIC!!
No but I would guess Ronnie Wideman probably did and he’s Tony’s right hand man. Doesn’t mean practice since he gave it to the media department couldn’t have changed Rohde/Harris but I’d bet on that being the lineup
I probably should say this to encourage unhealthy uses of time, but one could go back through the last several seasons and check how accurate opening night game notes lineups have been. And maybe check if they’ve ever forecasted starting lineup changes during the season.
For Navy (first game in 2021)
Both of the top 8 rotations from the last 2 years seem to be pretty accurate based off of the first game notes
Jabri was gone by then. Also I cant believe we ran that starting 5 two years in a row.
Tony is clearly playing mind games with Tarleton State. Make them not scout Gertrude and then BOOM
Oh shit you’re right. Got my years mixed up. I guess we didn’t redshirt anyone in ‘21 - ‘22? Probably cuz Tony knew we were gonna be mid and needed to try some things lol
