Only scholarship player who wasn’t listed in recent years, including redshirts (Bond and Traudt were on the list last year), was TM3 and that’s because they only got the waiver saying he could play the night before the first game (after the list went out). However, there’s no Bliss or ARob on this year’s list, which is a change, along with no Gertrude. Could be an injury, could be redshirt. Its not great either way.

- If we come out running something on offense not seen before (so not Sides, Inside Triangle, Continuity Ball Screen, etc.)
- Running transition off a rebound (as opposed to off a turnover, which I do expect).

I don’t think this game is going to tell us much about the rotation. Justin McKoy started the first four games of 2020, after all. Especially with a team this young and this diverse, I suspect there will be a lot of tinkering early on, and I think more than targeting a specific rotation, Tony will be looking to answer specific questions. Like: Can Groves play the small-ball five adequately? Is Rohde able to play defense well enough at small forward, or handle the ball well enough at guard? Can we get enough offense from Bond or Dunn or Harris that we can play them all together in a Death Lineup defense without suffering a scoreless drought ourselves?
Frankly, I’m curious to see the answers to those questions myself.
