We did from time to time. Virginia Sports TV YouTube will have some but you’ll need to dig because the channel is so active.

It gunna be really funny if we beat Tennessee and then play St. John’s and break Mr. Pitino into second ā€œretirementā€

2 games in 2 days. Does it hurt or help us this week?

On one hand our lack of depth especially at PG could really come back to bite us by 2nd half of game 2 but on the other hand our defense could really wear down whoever we play

I like it assuming no game 1 injuries. Our defense is exhausting to play against when it’s clicking.

Well St. John’s will be playing a Baylor team on night 1 that runs the niche ā€œno front, middle, or back defenseā€ aka the ā€œno defenseā€ defense. They may be somewhat fresh.

On the flipside we’ll be playing hard defense and be battling a hard defense.

Yeah, no Bliss. Blake and Sharma are the two at the far end.

Anyone feel similarities in the Bliss scenario to the Kawhi Leonard rift with the Spurs in 2018 where they disagreed over injury recovery and readiness timelines?

Wow! Leaving him at home on a trip to the Bahamas. Sounds like a cut the chord decision assuming they had the option to take him.

Will Elijah travel with team? If so, I’d assume Bliss would. Jersey is just about whether you’re playing.

This doesn’t mean he’s not making the trip. He had no uni for Nova either and still made the trip.

If you’re doubting Ethan and the uva medical staff then I don’t know what to say….

I like the sound of that.

I don’t think he’s saying that unless he’s made a very clear stance on the Kawhi situation

Shall see. Shocked these reporters aren’t asking every time about his status.

It seems like we’re blowing the Bliss situation out of proportion on here. We don’t know that he’s in the doghouse with Ron or his injury timeline. He also could very well end up being available before the end of the year and working his way back into the lineup before ACC play starts.

Also, Bliss is 19 and has been sidelined for a long time with injury. It’s completely reasonable for him to really want to get back and crack the rotation and think he’s ready before he is.
