Kyle Macy played at Kentucky in the seventies and then for the Suns in the Association. Tons of kids my age loved to emulate his free throw routine, which involved him putting the ball on the floor and wiping his palms on his socks before he shot.

The biggest difference, I imagine, is that Tennesseeās program has more continuity and experience than Virginiaās, at the moment. Three of their top six were in their primary rotation last year. Zeigler and Mashak have two years of experience at UT prior to this year, and four of their top seven were in the program last year. Additionally, all but one in the primary rotation are upperclassmen, and there are no true or redshirt frosh earning significant minutes. Virginia is going to be considerably younger and less experienced than Tennessee.

Ziegler and Mashack are both seniors with three years of experience at Tennessee. Ziegler has played heavy minutes since he was a frosh. Mashack since he was a sophomore.
Gainey and Igor are true seniors. Lanier is a Covid senior. And okpara is a junior with 2 years experience in the big 10.
Definitely an experienced team.

OBE I saw for the very first time today on an ad for an upcoming show about the CIA called The Agency.
I think at least some non-military people might know what an MRE is, just by watching war movies or TV shows.

Their front court is really limited both talent and depth size outside Igor. Ok para is a long armed fella though and their bigs can get some off their guards breaking down our defense

āGetting demolished on the boardsā is a bit of an exaggeration I think. We struggled against Nova, especially keeping them off the offensive glass but were +16 combined in our other two games. Those were two bad teams but I think itās premature to give us that label, even if there are legitimate concerns.
I get the doubts though overall.
