Iām not saying we should be sad, Iām saying the fact that we celebrate some guys and not others (despite all of them finishing up ā1-year contractsā) makes the ceremony feel arbitrary. Like, if TDR and Lewis leave after this year, weāll celebrate Malik and Dallin, but we wonāt celebrate TDR and Lewis, even though all of them spent 1 year here. I think thatās part of why Senior Day feels false.

Since start of Feb., VT has been 37th overall most efficient (34th in O, 85th in D).
Basically all of their advanced stats look middling, except for 3P% (41.5%) and eFG (driven by the 3P%). Theyāve just been on a 3 point heater these last 5 weeks.

Yeah the pitch there is that they donāt give up in the last 5 mins even if weāre kicking their ass and JPJ is rockin. Backdoor cover is in play.
There has been a concerning trend of bubble teams picking up ranked wins like change off the street the last two weeks.
That and our 3pt shooting is suspect at times and they will have Lawal back for this 2nd matchup. Tomorrow might not be fun. Team needs to lock in and be on that vengeance mentality.

If youāre in the US you can buy an antennae for a smart tv for like 25 bucks on Amazon. I had the same issue and it has worked great for me.

I get this but Iām really hoping itās not our viewpoint. With seeding for ACCT locked up, I really hope weāre focusing on seeding for ncaa and the opportunity ahead of us. To me this is a year where getting a 3 would be a huge advantage as opposed to a 4. We have a lot to play for and I hope thatās being relayed to the guys as much as possible.

Counterpoint - theyāve been a LOT better when heās off the court, especially if you look at conference play-only (-27.8 pts/100 possessions).
