If our D-line was able to win even a single match-up across that line he wouldn’t have all that time. It’s ridiculous. They’re just standing us up and nobody is getting home.

Wow, 28 of their 37 points have been in a really quick bursts…not too sure where the fix is for our defense. Have to hope getting some healthy play in the secondary can help turn this season around.

Bronco has been at Virginia for 5 or 6 yrs. He has 34 upper classmen on the 2deep and this is the progam he put on the field. Yes Armstrong is hurt but it’s not like he waa Lamar Jackson back there. What happened to the defense? The oline thats all upper classment. Where’s the progress and development?

I’m most disappointed with the defense. I thought the O could struggle at times, although I thought there would be an improved running game. I thought the D could be special.

same here the secondary was supposed to be good and it’s not. Snowden was supposed to be all conference he’s not. The offense changing and slowing without Bryce was expected but currently it’s non functioning. They cant throw the ball with any accuracy evem with Armstrong in the game. The RBs don’t seem to fimd holes. I d9 wish they’d run WTop more consistently. But all the subs and changes. No one settles in amd finds a rhythm

Man, watching this game really shows the lack of speed in the program. No homerun potential other than maybe Simpson? No one can make a play when needed. Dontayvion wicks was a really big loss. (Stating the obvious)

Why is Stone the primary back-up? His accuracy and ability to go downfield weren’t that impressive. You would think Thompson or Armstead might be better options especially since they are dual threats. Is it their lack of familiarity with the system?

Word was Thompson was hurt and Armstead too new. Honestly none of them looked great. Don’t recall Thompson ot Armstead throwing a pass. Stone was inaccurate. And TBH it’s not like Armstrong was lighting it up either. It feels like the staff has whiffed on a class of QB prospects
