Yeah my Elliott skepticism is well documented, but this is a very promising start to capitalizing on a good season. Exactly the type of guy we need to build the program. I hope he can keep the momentum up and snag a couple more of these guys recently put in limbo by coaching changes/whatever the fuck is happening in chapel hill.
However if the past is any indication, we’re due for a world stopping global pandemic to halt any athletic momentum our department has. I’ll take my money out of the market in February.

transfer portal is such a game changer tho. Typically when a coach has a breakthrough season it might take another year or 2 with high school recruits to see the benefits of that successful season, but now with the portal that isn’t necessarily the case. Hopefully we can stack another great portal class if we are able to finish this season out the way we all believe they can. Love this pickup tho, any quality VA recruit is a massive win in my eyes

Well, you see, basically everybody gets in a car and tries to go fast in it. Usually there are wrecks. You only need to watch the last lap and the wrecks.
I flipped it on around 6 and said to my dad “watch, there will be a wreck, and this will run long.”
