It energized me enough that I think Iām now gonna make the trip down for Friday night lights against FSU (pending partner approval). Excited to see if this is for real or not, that game could be a lot of fun if it is.

I was thinking that ājust W&Mā wouldnāt move the needle, but you could be right. Iāll drop the same poll in the next game thread when it appears.
I mean itās not just dominating W&M in a vacuum. Itās putting 700 yards and 55 points on them after putting up 2 incredibly efficient and dominant offensive performances the first 2 weeks. As of now, weāre 8th in the nation in total offense.
I think folks needed to see that this offense isnāt one that can just get hot from time to time, but one that can legitimately be prolific on a week-to-week basis. Ppl are starting to realize the latter might actually be the case which is why the optimism seems greater than usual after an FCS win
Offense and OL look much better this year. Weāll see how it holds up against better competition. Stateās defense was pretty weak.
Iāve already seen enough to know that this offense is quite good. Donāt know if itāll be as prolific as itās been the first 3 weeks but barring disastrous injury, this will at least be a top-35/40 unit come seasonās end.
Itās not just having the quality depth in conjunction with the soundness of our scheme, but our top end playmakers are fantastic as well. Thatās what I didnāt account for/expect. I expected significant improvement with our added depth, but it appears we may have all-ACC caliber players in JāMari, Cam Ross, and Brady Wilson. Other guys may step up too (Edrine has looked exceptional at times), but our top end playmakers change the complexion of what we can do and allow for this offense to be truly prolific. I donāt use that term lightly
Call me crazy but I think we give them a game. Scott will be bumping, FSU hasnāt played a road game, and we have an offense that can score points. Just need to force Castellanos into a mistake or two
Yes butt are the Hoos going to face better defenses moving forward?
Or at least a significantly step up better?
Itās absolutely doable. Friday night, crowd should be good, they might be looking ahead to Miami the next week. Weāre better than theyāll think we are. Itās definitely a recipe for an upset.
Would be nice if a vintage UVA crowd showed up. I think itāll be pretty good but butts in seats wonāt be more than mid 40s
Very good weather, no really big competing games on, and then an opportunity to see an opponent most probably have never seen. A win @State wouldāve done wonders for butts in seats but I still expect a pretty good showing. First game got 46, give me 48 on this one.
Edit: just realized you guys are talking FSU, I was on Stanford lol
I just sold 2 tix for $95 each. (bad time to go on a cruise) Of course, they might be FSU fans, but didnāt expect to get that much.
