In general, most college staffs are quiet. There are some who believe thereās value in promoting their recruiting activityā¦gets fans amped up and all that. Bennett was a little extreme in that he didnāt like leaksā¦itās not so much about keeping secrets, as controlling the outflow of information. lol Like one time I reported some little nothing recruiting fact and that sent alarms in the coaching office that led to a full investigation of how I got that. They didnāt care that it was reported exactly, only about where it came from.
I donāt see anything like that with Odom. They just arenāt going to be a direct source to recruiting dudes very often, which is pretty normal.
