Great size, great shooting, 2 years left. Everything youāre looking for imo.
Hoping flood gates really start to open now and we get some momentum.

Would love to see a transfer commitment from a big sometime soon
Welcome Sam Lewis! That looks like a great pickup on paper. 44% from three on 4 attempts per game is nice. Good size and length. Multiple years of eligibility left (assuming he doesnāt just portal again next year.)
Toledo had one of the 10 worst defenses in the country last year though. Hope heās ready to lock in.
Overall, awesome commitment.
P.S. I love you Cofie. Go be great.
Shout out to Brad Franklin.
And I spent my coffee time that morning hating on Reed Bailey. I didnāt even watch Lewis tapeā¦
Did you really think most of the players we wanted to keep were going to come back if the staff wasnāt retained?
Thereās no way the Ron discussion is getting brought back up when we just got our first fuckin transfer commit.
Weāre allowed to be happy, everyone. Itās ok.
Truth! Letās celebrate!
So we could go a little bit above .500 this time and an NIT? Lol
That would have totally depended on what you add from the portal. Obviously, thereās 3 or 4 they probably would have parted with and tried to recruit over.
Thereās a reason Tony called it a 2 year plan.
Regardless of who is coaching, UVA should be back in the NCAA tourney this year.
So with Lewis in the fold, do you like Miles or Conerway more (or maybe just both lol)?
Exactly - and why I said more than once āItās a great day to be a 'Hoo.ā Barksdale was one (but didnāt count as weāve only been talking about transfers), thereās still another lingering (which I said wasnāt Davidson), and now Lewis (didnāt know it would be him specifically - but this is why I wrote weāre going to get upgrades at every single position except for shooting guard but even that might turn out to be better based on our new style of play). Donāt be too surprised if we get another transfer commit by Tuesday morning. Go 'Hoos!
Have thought about those two as a duo. Maybe a little on the small side for a high major backcourt, but offensively I think they complement each other well. Miles as a combo guard who can really shoot it alongside Lewis, Conerway leading the offense and getting downhill while also at least being able to hit 3ās on occasion.
Miles probably closer to Lewis in skillet, I think, but also probably a more sure thing. Verdict = ask someone else
Front court or back court?
Very much front court first but another wing is lingering behind Door #2.
Had mentioned UVA. Penn St is the hometown team
Bummer, liked that kid
Might have been a guy who was more interested in us than we were in him?
