He did, however, struggle vs. UCSD, Purdue, and Houston — something like a combined 9-30 from the field in those games.

And that’s exactly why I wanted to Ron it back. I would have felt totally different if this past season had tanked, or if this year was a ceiling reached with mostly upperclassman. I felt this team had bought in, was together, and really showed a lot of improvement over the year, both individually & collectively.

The UCSD game is doing a decent bit of heavy lifting there, went 1-10.
4-11 against Houston is not bad, 4-13 against Purdue isn’t great but he did also have 11 rebounds.
