He averaged double figures in scoring each of his 4 seasons at UVA, including a career-best 18.1 points per game in 1994-95 when Burrough led us to the elite 8 with 22 points and 16 rebounds. Should’ve beaten Arkansas that year…Down 3 and they called Curtis Staples for a foul on a steal that would’ve easily changed the game.

My memory of him that year was in the ACC tournament, 1995. That was when the ACC had Tim Duncan, Joe Smith, Donal Williams, Rasheed Wallace, Jerry Stackhouse…and Junior Burrough DOMINATED THEM ALL!!!
