I’m pretty worried it may not happen in VA. An indoor sport, in theory, could be a bigger spreader than football. I think AAU or engender some nice n sanctioned pick up type games may be the closest we come to high school hoops until next winter. Someone please tell me I’m an idiot.
Damn that’s a great question. You may be right. In theory they could also push the start to Jan and play a full season conference only I guess.
I know high school coaches are ticked over the restrictions on their workouts. Meanwhile the same kids go off and play in AAU tourneys on the weekend.
I personally wish there was more competitive pick up. 50 guys waitin on the side for Got Next. Watch dudes really compete
Love it lose and go home cause you cant wait 2 hrs to get back on.
TCIS (757’s main private school league) announced a few weeks ago that winter season will be Nov-Jan, fall season Feb-March, and spring season March-May. Of course that can change but that’s the current plan. I think the VHSL announced that nothing can be played before December.
