I would agree, but for the fact that the minutes for a portal transfer will be very limited if Shedrick returns, and I imagine he returns. Then the question becomes: how attractive is UVa to a portal transfer when all it is offering is 5 to 10 mpg? Among other things, you also have to wonder about how deep the rotation will be. If both Franklin and Shedrick return, it likely includes Shedrick, Traudt, Dunn, Bond, Franklin, McKneely, Beekman, and Harris. If neither Franklin nor Murray come back, that might be an opportunity for a transfer if the staff feels Gertrude isnāt completely ready. Regardless, I am unsure any potential ābigā in the portal finds the ninth spot in the rotation that appealing. Or, at least, any ābigā who could be productive. Whether Buchanan redshirts is a question for which I have no answer. History says he does, but circumstances might suggest otherwise.

Oh shit, when we bring key recruits to a big game it destroys any chances of us winning. Our chances of winning are like me predicting weāll land a recruit: itās the kiss of death followed by cremation of the body and then the mixing of the ashes into a vat of asphalt and having them paved into a road.
This, and the fact we canāt get recruits to commit to us, is why we should stop recruiting recruits altogether.
