Oh yeah I was just being nice and mindful of where he was coming from. I have an elderly dad and it drives me crazy every day that he could die because of someone else’s selfishness. Of course there is a lot he could die from at his age (70) but something so preventable would stir me the wrong way.

Same here. After DeAndre Hunter was sidelined, I had no expectations that Virginia would get beyond the first weekend. And, while I didn’t really expect them to lose to UMBC, to me, it wasn’t shocking. The Syracuse loss was a different matter, altogether.

Loss to NC State in Ralph’s last season was biggest disappointment ever as UVA fan. Think it was Sweet 16 and we had been #1 for most of the season. After that loss it felt like we would never make it to final 4 again much less win a NC.

It was in the Regional Finals. The weird thing that year is it took a near miracle for State to sneak past Pepperdine in the opening round and then they snuck by UNLV by one. We had all we could handle with Gary Williams and BC in the Sweet 16.
