Not to mention, a certain toughness should return to JPJ with next years squad.
We better get a damn home game
Top 5 acc, comfortably make the tournament, first round loss to a mid major.
Saw Ty played pick-up at JPJ. Did he have anything to say about the new guys?
Anyone on memphis we want? Also seconding @mac9rās request for a scouting report from Ty. @Marktykobe

Is Cisse still there? Donāt know if he has handlers like some international kids but his shot blocking would be a nice fit.
He was at the g-league event. No idea now. Would be the perfect 5 to develop and pair next to Traudt but I have a feeling he and his crew might have different visions.
I suppose itās not impossible, but it feels like Penny and CTB are selling REaLLY different versions of college ball. Probably not a ton of overlap.
The Hoos have only made the Sweet 16 - 25% of the time under Bennett.
I think any season getting to the sweet 16 should be the expectation and a success. Anything less than 2 wins in the madness is not a successful season.
If this year they play all the young guys a ton and they donāt make the Sweet 16 - Iām good with that because it sets up the next 2-3 years very well. My suspicion is that if all of the underclassmen are top 7 in minutes played, we will get to the sweet 16. They are very talented. (Beekman, Franklin, Shedrick, Murray, McCorkle, Milicic)
ACC/B1G matchups dropping today, would expect to hear ours within minutes. So far:
VT-Maryland
Miami-Penn State
Louisville-MSU
NC State-Nebraska
Cuse-Indiana
So, āNot Indianaā.
Itās gonna be Michigan
We had Perdue last time, right? So presumably not them. It canāt possibly be Wiscy again, right? I assume Illinois and Michigan go to UNC and Duke.
No we had the cancellation Covid of MSU at home. Purdue on road before. Weāre due a home game looking like Michigan or Iowa
Michigan at UNC
Duke at OSU so itās Iowa
I bet we get Iowa. I think its fair that expectations for UVA next year are tempered. Iowa has some cache from last year but might actually not be all that good.
Edit - How good is Illinois supposed to be next year?
Weāre hosting Iowa. Confirmed
Thatās an interesting matchup for us. Their frontcourt is small and somewhat inexperienced, which could be great for Gardner and Shedrick (if heās ready to meet expectations). Their backcourt is way less deep than last year and as usual with a Fran team might struggle with defense and Iām not sure that their offense can compensate for it like they were able to last year.
