Lol I don’t even know who this is? Baldwin? Honestly at this point I would tell any SF to look at Trey Murphy in his one year here and see what you *could be, especially if you are already at 6’8 or 6’9 with some weight on you coming into college…

I mean Caleb Houstan chose not us because Murphy will still be here. They know he is good enough to take playing time from them in their one year to showcase their abilities.
Rumor is that it’s dad for Baldwin Jr.

Oh you think Houstan didn’t choose us because of Murphy? Well Sam will be gone but that’s interesting to know… but also every player is different so maybe it would still appeal for some 4 stars to follow Treys trend.
I think it was more of lack of opportunity due to Trey. They play the same role and Caleb only wants to be in college a year most likely (He’s looked really good for Montverde in the snippets Ive seen). Might be crazy for me to say but I do think Trey has a much higher ceiling and so Im okay with losing Caleb for another year of Trey Murphy.

Not sure if anyone has commented on this yet, but I noticed that at the end of the latest JWilly show Williford said he’s recruiting a kid from Pace Academy (GA). Do we know who he’s talking about? I did some quick research and found the following guys:
Madison Durr - 2021 3 Star 6’5" CG

I assume he’s talking about Reed. Willy’s been a regular at Pace for years. They’re always looking at someone there, just never really gone after anyone seriously. Matthew Cleveland was the last one. and they did look at Durr some.

Yeah I would think based on Stars and where we are at in our recruiting they it would be him.
So Stockrisers/Jake Weingarten tweeted he was going to be making a couple “surprising” predictions on Keels and Baldwin today. That tweet has since been deleted. Hmmmmm

My logical brain tells me our complete lack of offensive production from any of our 2s has opened the door back up for Keels. Recruiting is never logical though.
Baldwin staying to play for Dad is perfectly logical though. Pandemic uncertainties, job security and he’s got the same odds to be a lottery pick whether he plays there or Duke. Nor will he have to share the ball with all the ball dominant dudes it appears they’ll have next year.
