Just gotta hope Reece doesn’t get too good too soon ![]()
Luckily Tony will also have all of those dudes this year! Plus a bunch of grizzled college veterans!
Whos ready for another year of Kihei?

Not sure what the results will be but he clearly put a lot of effort into his shot the last 2 years. Hoping it gives us another notch this year.
Not a fan of him practicing the CP3-esque midrange shots – not gonna be a super efficient shot in a game.
However the shot at the 20 second mark is great – a catch and shoot jumper with minimal dip of the ball, which will be really important for him to be able to capitalize the advantages created by Reece. Improvement here is crucial because it often seems like Kihei is limited in the threes he can take due to both his height and because his jumper is slow, therefore he needs a ton of space. This should help with that tho
I hope Reece and McKneely form a quick connection so they must be on the floor together constantly.

I noticed that too - he appears to catch it much higher up than normal. I wondered if he needed the dip to generate enough power on the shot.
Kihei keeps working and making incremental improvements in his game. Glad to see him put in the work with Damin.
I just want the Armaan and Reece clips so we can spend a week critiquing their jumpshots
Justin Taylor sighting as well.
Nice to see Armaan there. Do we know if Reece ended up working with Damin or not?
Im thinking that Reece was working with him too
I hope so. If Reese develops a good jump shor we know what that means…
It means…LOTTERY! Lol
I’m way too lazy to scour through ols threads, but I seem to recall that several players are working with Altizer. Seeing what he’s done with Kihei to add that catch and shoot rhythm 3 as well as the step back gives me a lot more confidence that Armaan will be back to something like his shooting average of two years ago.
Can’t wait to see what this team can do!
(caveat: I’m the furthest thing from a shot doctor, but here goes) A bit of a tale of two videos, for me. First 20 seconds is awesome. He’s getting some lift, and the release point is pretty high and not too out front. Latter 40 seconds seems more like what we are used to. He’s pushing the shot, he’s out front, and he’s not getting much lift.
But like I said yesterday he’s incrementally improving, which is good.
Ball goes in, I’m happy
Like Box Pon said its going in BUT the rotation first 20 seconds is just strange. I think last part you talked about is a segmant where Kihei is just being very deliberate and working on mechanics. There are times to work out fast and times to be deliberate (my opinion)
Keep workin Kihei and be ready for 39 minutes a game!
39?!!?!?
Insanity I tell ya!!!
