It kind of looks like the 1 seeds are the first four out of the big dance then everything after that is based on Kenpom. I havenā€™t checked kenpom but just seems that way.

I believe the number 1 seeds have to be the first four out. After that, I have no clue. Looks like that may have pushed the easy button.

My initial assumption is the seedings (other than #1 seeds) were taken directly from KenPomā€™s (or someone similiar) rankings.

Usually Iā€™m analyzing these kinds of things to within an inch of their lives, but this year Iā€™m oddly unmotivated. Well, I guess its not so odd.

Iā€™ll be at the game on Wed, though.

I donā€™t think NIT seedings get nearly the same scrubbing as the big tourneyā€™s seeding do.

I also think the NIT is necessarily more attuned to logistics like region and ability to host. E.g., we may have been a 5-seed by pure seeding, but we were wiling to host and viewed as a good host, and were regionally simpatico with Miss. Stā€¦
