Glad JWilly turned down the American job. Selfishly I want him in Charlottesville as the No.2 or No.1 for a long time. I have to think with Austin taking off and going into his Jr. year of HS, the Williford’s are going to be hesitant to move anytime soon.

With Pitino now at St Johns looking over at New Jersey and Philly kids and Cooley reportedly getting a $3 million NIL budget to recruit with in the DC area, how screwed is Villanova?

Yea Nova was already on shaky legs with Jay Wright gone but now their backyard of recruiting is under attack.

Count me in… Merging Jeff Jones and CTB, we’ll be unstoppable. He’s paid his dues and when the time comes, I hope he gets it.

Probably enough talent in the area for all of them

Think some of Providence’s better players like Bryce Hopkins, Devin Carter, follow Cooley to GTown? Both transferred once already, not sure how that affects things. It will be interesting to see how quickly Cooley can get the ship righted.

He’s gonna need some transfers to get the ball rolling there I think. The cupboards are pretty bare after the last two years of Ewing and it’s probably too late to make much of a dent recruiting for the upcoming season.

Low key seems like everyone cubbards are bare somehow. I guess other than Duke

Sources: Boston College has extended the contract of coach Earl Grant for two years through the 2028-29 season. He led BC to 9 ACC wins this year, the most since 2010-11.

I think Grant is a good coach. BC is just so far down, I am not sure how they ever become relevant again. Havent been in the tournament since 2009!

Another form of striking while the iron’s hot: using a job opening as leverage for a new contract.

Great for him and proly deserving. But does it happen without an NCAA massive upset win? Nope
