I think I knew he was alive (or hadn’t heard of him passing) but was surprised to see him there answering questions. Or at least willing to answer.

And Barnes! Paul Evans is the curly haired guy who used to coach Pitt. Raftery was at SH when they entered the Big East. Gavitt is at top right. I can never remember the guy in between Boeheim and John Thompson.

EDIT - nevermind … I’m seeing it. Seems like a big jump for him.
doubt he goes now, but if and when he does I think it’ll be a big loss. J Willi seems like more of a player’s coach and seems to have a great rapport with the guys. Xs and Os it seems like he’s very solid also

EagleBank/Patriot Center is also waaaay better than Bender Arena. Don’t know how the rest of the GMU facilities compare to American’s facilities.

Yeah, here you go. I’d take this list with a grain of salt. The new list is basically the same as the 2021 list but without english (who got the job) and Caputo (who got GW).

JWilly is not going to Mason. Yes Mason is a much better job than American. Better facilities better money better conference… worst location. But as others have mentioned he’s turned that down once.
I feel convinced he’s staying put until Austin is done with school.

Great 30/30. The Boeheim we saw in the ACC had definitely lost that Big East fire after 2013 though.

Yea a different stratosphere better job. Gap between the A10 and the Patriot League might be as big as the gap between the ACC and the A10. It’s huge. Legitimate at large aspirations versus not in the realm of possibility
