Yeah, I was a bit āmehā on Ryan for us, tbh, b/c I donāt see him being a big difference maker for us. Heās more of a ālast piece / complementary pieceā and he might play that role for UNC. His best year was the year they had Blake Wesley. He can sit on the perimeter and just wait for an open shot as the 4th or so option and drain 40+% of his threes on moderate volume.

Yeah heās a pure spot up guy. I donāt think Iāve seen him get into the lane off a ball screen once against us (only a slight exaggeration). Heās a tall wing, but he profiles as just an average defender, not many box score defensive contributions and the on-off numbers on defense have been mixed across his time at ND.

Hopefully Stevenson sees ALL of the additions to UNC and realizes there is no space for him! In addition he needs to realize that WE can just as easily fill out our roster so he needs to move with the quickness on our offer.
That Cjones guy on UNC made a comment that UVA was going to look like Wisconsin.
Then Hubert Davis proceeds to bring in Cormac Ryan, some white dude from an Ivy League and now theyāre reaching out to CJ Frederick.
The jokes write themselves with those dudes over there.

That Amzil/Holmes/Camara frontcourt really didnāt live up to (at least my) expectations. And now at least one, and maybe two (Camara - draft) and maybe three (Holmes definitely back??) will be gone.

Just read that Dusan Mahorcic is in the portal. Heās a 3 schools in 3 years guy, which is a flag, and heās the furthest thing from a floor spacer.
I suspect thereās roughly zero chance weād be interested, but I wouldnāt hate it if we decided we wanted a guy like that. More of a Papi than a BVP. Heck, Iād have been happy if we wooed Papi back. Am I wrong ? (I mean I doubt it, but itās happened once or twice)

Big injury risk, they are not sure when he would be ready if at all for next season thus they filled his spot with Middlebrooks. Doubt he will get much interest honestly tough break.
