Our reputation as ultimate underachievers in the tournament lasted one day.

Who’s got the UVA Purdue unity meme? Boxley apparently has a life and is busy on a Friday night, the loser.

It’s not worse. We were their Cuse. This is their UMBC. We never had a St Peter’s because Tony didn’t poop his pants when he had a lottery pick.

Hopefully Painter plays kihei and Reece together less next year. And maybe he can find a mamadi-type big in the portal

If only Purdue had played their first years more and hadn’t had so many fifth years things could have gone the other way

This analyst desk talking the coach’s job being to instill confidence in their players and how they would take a 27% 3pt shooter who is confident over a 50% 3pt shooter afraid to shoot… hits a little too close to home.

This is the first time I haven’t felt sad when they mention UMBC because I know they won’t be as much now that Purdue is more recent. Only reason I wad sad before was because it reminded me of the championship, but now it also feels like a new era of us too now that we aren’t as unique.

Also, odds on Purdue championship next year?

It felt good for a second but then I remembered how bad it felt when it happened to us. It wasn’t hard to remember because, you know, yesterday.

What happened yesterday?

I wonder if an unconfident 50% shooter even exists?

Sardaar Calhoun sighting on Drake, I wasn’t expecting that. Dude is well traveled, only to come face to face with an old rival.

So, essentially, they did the two things UVa basketball is most remembered for (greatest upset featuring a 7’4 player of the year and loss to a 16-seed) all in the same game.

Congrats, Purdue.
