They were struggling down the stretch in a good conference while Duke went on a run in a mediocre ACC. This is best they’ve looked in a while though. Not being intimidated by Dukes size, just showing how soft they are

I think we could learn a few things on how they have attacked Duke today

Refs would never let Duke get beat up like this in ACC play.

It would be hilarious if Lively is one and done after not attempting a shot this game

I think the consensus on Tennessee was great defense, suspect offense. Which is basically what we are seeing.

I’m just so sad my prediction of Duke taking this region won’t work out… so so sad

In a one game scenario- but what was implied is that Purdue is the worst team between the two. I doubt that if they played the best of…

Edit: also faded because they had no Zeigler, and a couple of high profile SEC losses.

That damn fraud Scheyer and his 52 points

Look how BIG and muscular theTennessee team is. I thought we had the monopoly on weight training programs?

No joy in ESPNville!!! Hey how about that bad call in the UVA/Duke game?

This is among the biggest upsets in the NCAA Tournament, ever. Not only did Tennessee have to overcome all of Duke’s talent, they had to overcome the Great Jon Scheyer. The coaching job that man did this year will go down in basketball lore. Hard to imagine any other coach could have taken this team to the Final 32.

Now I can enjoy the rest of the tournament.

Did you hear that he went undefeated at home?

I like this potential Shaka/Barnes E8, both flamed out at Texas, F4s a long time ago but a lot of poor showings since

It’s been awhile since we’ve been a big team with grown men. We hear about our weight program a lot but our recent teams haven’t looked like the old Brogdon ones. I remember in 2014 after we crushed Memphis in the tournament, one of their players commented that we had a team of grown men.

I love Barkley saying “Filikowski?” like he’s not sure he’s saying that name right. Charles doesn’t watch ESPN, never actually heard of this guy before today

The greatest first-year coach in the history of college basketball takes his ragtag collection of five five-stars, a high four star, and two former Big Ten starters and gets pummeled by a dominant, star-studded team that had lost six of its last 11 games and its starting point guard.

It was a heroic display for David against Goliath, but this tale didn’t have a happy ending — Robert Kraft or otherwise.

When he’s been anointed the chosen one, we will all look back on this gutsy performance by an unheralded and unhyped squad as one of legend.

Agree that Scheyer deserves coach of the year with his miraculous rebuild of the Duke brand while being weighed down by two years of #1 recruiting classes and a roster of NBA draft picks.

It was definitely shocking, I mean shocking, that he didn’t get a single vole for coach of the year.
