Wong declared for the draft.
Per Torvik, that drops Miami from #23 to #41, though I’m sure they’ll add someone else.

LifeWallet is going out of business… only valid option at this point… follow the Cavender twins into the Miami sunset…
The sad thing about the current state of the conference is that drop from #23 to #41 moves them from 3rd in the ACC to … 3rd in the ACC. Obviously a long ways to go and computers aren’t perfect, but the ACC needs to add some players.
Yeah, next is Clemson at #43. Not inspiring hope that next year will be the year that ACC hoops turns it around. Though Duke will probably be preseason #1.
I still think we will have a high ceiling (though low floor, too, probably), but other than us, Duke, and UNC, we are left hoping that the new guys (Shrewsberry, Stoudamire, whoever else I’m forgetting - Autry) can start to turns things around. Hamilton needs to see the writing on the wall, Larranaga probably will, too, once the Ruiz money dries up. Meh.
Undeniable proof that Twitter sucks. Or that the basketball fans on Twitter suck.

Sheep.
How did UK get two foreign trips two years in a row? Dang

Canada counts as a foreign country?
Weird, but true.
I wonder if they are the “US National team” for this trip?
Here’s the announcement for last year where Baylor represented the US
I think so, but I thought that counted as Baylor’s once every 5 year trip (but I guess not)
Baylor last went on a foreign tour before the 2019-20 season, so that Canada tournament would have been within 4 years. Maybe there’s some sort of exception for this event because it’s organized by the NABC?
Yeah, it must be something like that. Nice perk if you can get it.
Kentucky has all those young guards that people will be eager to see. Plus also Reed Shepherd (sick burn, Haney).
Another analog is Clemson, who represented the US in the World University Games before the 2019-20 season and then also went on a foreign tour before this season. Or maybe the rules loosened a bit somehow?
LOL by recruits does he mean ballas for St. Johns… or does he mean recruits… This is Rick Pitino afterall
As long as he wasn’t shooting the gun, or blowing weed smoke in the cop’s face, he was probably just in the wrong place at the wrong time by Alabama sports logic.
@AdventiveQuasar brought up Matthew Cleveland in another thread. I brought up Warley, too.
Some stats on year 1 and year 2:
Warley was 36 and Cleveland was 22 (RSCI) in the admittedly, likely under-watched class of 2021.
